Nasim Rana Masud, one of the familiar budding writers and poets was born at Norshingpur English (Shibgonj Thana) of Chapai Nawabgonj district of Bangladesh in 1988. His father’s name is Toimur Rahman and mother’s is Fatima Begum. When he was one year old, his family shifted to India and they were living in Kolkata. Again his family migrated from Kolkata to Norshingpur English in 1996 and then Nasim read in class three. Having settled at Norshingpur English, Nasim finished his primary education from Norshingpur primary school and got admitted into Jambaria Dakhil Madrasha.

When he was a student of class eight, then his academic life was stopped due to dearth. After two years, he started his learning to get admitted into Chakla Dakhil Madrasha and finished his Dakhil exam.

In 2005, he got admitted into Shahbajpur Sonamosjid College and finished his higher secondary certificate. Then he applied for admission into Rajshahi University by brilliance and got admitted into the department of psychology. Now (2010), he is a student of Rajshahi University, department of psychology.  

Nasim Rana Masud is a hard-working; he continues his writing from his boyhood with his academic learning. His many poems, articles, composition and short stories have been published in different newspapers. From them, Akusher Sommane Amra, Rajnitir Doratte Amra, Monoshokti, Bodshokti, Jiggasha, Somalochona, Jiggasar Jobab etc (compositions and story); Amar prem, Tomar Khoje-1, Tomar Khoje-2, Fire Ai, Premikar Pronam, and so many interesting poems. 

Recently a book of poems ( Fira aai by Nasim Rana Masud) has been published. May Allah bless him.
